I’m LJ Shaw and I am originally from Columbia, Maryland (truly a small town girl).
As an artist, I gravitate toward stories that capture the true essence of humanity in all of its complexities. I am drawn to these stories as an actor, and recently, I have also been investigating my work through the lens of a producer, director, and fight/intimacy coordinator.
Along with my artistry, I’m a big tea drinker, obsessed with traveling, and constantly looking at pictures of my niece (she is 4 months old and the cutest thing).

Lucien Theatre Co.
One of the most fulfilling projects I’m working on is the founding of my theatre company, Lucien Theatre Company. Alongside seven other young artists, Lucien Theatre Company is founded on the rejuvenation of Shakespeare’s language for our rising generation and the commitment to collaboration in every branch of our company.
I am the facilitator of Production as well as Tybalt in our inaugural production of Romeo & Juliet.
